The AC MINI was designed to harness the responsiveness and satisfaction that players associate with great tube amps. It delivers deeply responsive and satisfying guitar tones, far beyond what its compact design would suggest. 

Just like a classic tube amp, the AC MINI features a simple and intuitive control panel, making it easy to dial in iconic tones. No menu-diving or careful tweaking is required to access inspiring and rewarding sounds that will make you want to keep playing. 

Its compact, yet refined look is unmistakably VOX and designed to work with you wherever inspiration strikes.

VOX Dynamic Response Circuit -Analog authenticity

The AC MINI is not simply a scaled‑down amp.

It was designed to deliver an authentic amp experience in a compact format, without sacrificing the inspiring tone and feel that define an AC amplifier.

At the heart of the AC MINI is a newly developed analog design, the VOX Dynamic Response Circuit. Designed by the same team behind the acclaimed VOX AC Hand‑Wired Series, this circuit harnesses the natural compression, rich harmonics, and dynamic response commonly found in classic tube amps.

As a result, the AC MINI responds to your touch and nuance in a way that feels alive and expressive. Despite its compact size, it delivers sound with real body and depth while avoiding the thinness and flatness often associated with small amps.

Expertly crafted on-board reverb

A new, carefully tuned digital reverb was developed and voiced specifically for the AC MINI.

The VOX engineering team’s goal was to bring the distinctive warmth and subtle movement of a classic spring tank reverb to the compact design of the AC MINI. After extensive analysis and critical listening, the reverb was carefully tuned to add natural depth and sustain, encouraging you to dig in and play.

Sound beyond its size 

The cabinet design of the AC MINI was carefully engineered to enhance low‑end response while maintaining a balanced overall frequency range. 

The cabinet is constructed using engineered wood, commonly known as MDF. MDF offers balanced mass and natural resonance that works in tandem with the bass‑reflex design of the AC MINI, resulting in real amp‑like resonance and presence that exceeds expectations for a compact amp. 

Effortless tone shaping

The AC MINI was designed to keep you focused on playing, not tweaking or tone‑searching. The control panel is simple and reminiscent of classic VOX designs, with each control carefully considered so the full sweep of every dial remains musical and usable.

The analog circuit allows your guitars to shine through—whether you play single‑coils, humbuckers, or anything in between, your guitar always sounds like it should. It responds naturally to your guitar’s controls and pick attack, cleaning up as you roll back the volume and reacting with energy when pushed and played hard.

When you need more gain and sustain, the onboard BOOST switch naturally pushes the preamp into musical overdrive, adding presence and harmonic overtones.

Plug In and Play Along

The AC MINI is equipped with both an aux input and headphone output, letting you play along with your favorite tracks from a smartphone, tablet, or other device. Use your favorite headphones to enjoy realistic amp sounds whenever inspiration strikes.
